About Me!
Hi! I’m Molly (she/her/hers).
I grew up in Morristown, New Jersey and fell in love with playing the electric guitar at age 11. Music led me to theatre which led me to my middle school best friends, so I stuck around.
Before I knew it, I was off to Northwestern University where I received a B.A. in Theatre with concentrations in Music Theatre and Theatre Management alongside a B.A. in Psychology. During my time at Northwestern, I served as the Executive Director of the Jewish Theatre Ensemble and a Research Assistant in the Personality Across Development Lab in addition to performing. I spent the rest of my free time promoting accessibility on campus and across Chicagoland through my work as the Director of Accessibility Services for The Dolphin Show, the biggest student-produced musical in the country, and as the Production Manager for Seesaw Theatre, which develops sensory-friendly productions for neurodivergent students in public schools. I was awarded the 2022 Burton and Karol Lefkowitz Prize by the Northwestern School of Communication for my accessibility efforts.
I am a proudly disabled and chronically ill performer. An ear infection at the age of 16 damaged the vestibular nerve in my right ear, leaving me with only half a sense of balance and triggering the onset of multiple autoimmune diseases. I am outspoken about invisible and rare disabilities as artistic communities learn how to best best include us.
I trained at the Prague Shakespeare Company in 2022, and I joined the national tour of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood LIVE: King for a Day! shortly after my graduation from Northwestern in 2023 playing Chrissie. I spent seven months touring across the US, sharing about disability, puppeteering, riding Mr. Rogers’s trolley, learning lots, and having the best time.
I moved full-time to New York City in the fall of 2024 and have been loving the city life so far. I am currently training at the Atlantic Acting School in their Technique Lab and as a voice student of teacher Laura Menard. My weekends are spent as a Supporting Artist for CO/LAB Theater Group where I help teach adults with developmental disabilities about musical theatre techniques.
My main social media platform is without a doubt my GoodReads account, where I share my thoughts on the ~200 books that I read every year (yeah, it’s a bit of a problem). I love coffee shops, group fitness classes, spending time with my family at the Jersey Shore, browsing Zillow, keeping up with reality dating shows, and complaining about being gluten-free.
I am a local hire in the NYC/NJ area and in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I love to drive and am excited about traveling again after catching the bug from my first tour.
